  • "Fantastic hosts, beautiful location, superbly well equipped, especially the kitchen! Mark and Allan were so helpful with all of our questions and very fast to respond. The location was amazing, and easy to get to Kielder Forest and various walks. The house was spotless and perfect for our group - 3 couples, a toddler, and a dog. We loved using the BBQ and fire pit too"

  • "Had a gorgeous stay for a frosty weekend, the house was warm and inviting and made for a very cosy winter getaway. The surrounding area was beautiful in the frost, nearby walks to frozen waterfalls felt magical. House is well equipped, able to make a roast for 7 in the kitchen no problem. Mark and Allen very responsive and accommodating, giving extra kindling for the fire, recommending walking routes and introducing us to their dogs to take on the walk with us was lovely! Lovely stay!"

  • “What a wonderful place to stay! Mark and Alan were such great hosts too. Highly recommend staying at Larriston. The accomodation was warm, cozy and had everything we needed with a great kitchen and very comfy bedrooms. It's a peaceful and remote location with beautiful scenery and walks from the doorstep. Perfect!"

Excellent hosts who made us feel extremely welcome and gave us lots of information and top tips for eating out and exploring. The house is pristine and has everything you need, the courtyard is secure and an absolute sun trap! We will definitely be going back! Thank you soooo much for having us 🙌🏼"
